"Big Win for Local Youth Radio Station with Over $80,000 in New Funding"
ENDFM Youth Radio Station, proudly supported by South West Arts, has received more than $80,000 through the 2024/25 Arts and Cultural Funding Program.
This exciting funding will support the creation of a brand-new role – a Creative Industry Youth Development Officer – who will work with young people across the South West region of NSW to grow their skills, confidence, and creativity in media and the arts.
South West Arts Executive Director, Kerry-Anne Jones, said the project is an important step in supporting the next generation of creative talent in the region.
"This funding helps us keep investing in young people – especially those who might not always get the same opportunities, like First Nations youth, people from different cultural backgrounds, and those living in remote or disadvantaged communities."
ENDFM has become a platform for young voices and creative ideas, and this new project will take things even further.
“It’s a big step forward for the station,” Kerry-Anne added. “We’re making it easier for young people in rural areas to explore digital media, learn new skills, and see real pathways into creative careers.”
